faq.

what camera do you use?

canon eos rebel t3 with the standard 18-55mm lens kit. i edit these photos in adobe lightroom 4.

i also use my iphone 4 and edit/publish with instagram.

when will jack be done with school?

never.

but seriously, he will graduate in 2015. then he has three years of residency, then a fellowship. i think.

how long have you been married?

since July 10, 2010.

what is it that you do again?

i am a certified public accountant and prepare and review tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, fiduciaries, and tax exempt organizations. when i'm not doing this, i am a wife to my hubby and momma to my two furry four legged children.

what is your skin routine?

i have super dry skin in the winter and combo skin in the summer. i wash my face twice a day with origins pure cream moisturizing cleanser.

am
1. after cleansing, i use origins make a difference skin rejuvenating treatment lotion {it's like a moisturizing toner}. this will help all the next lotions & potions sink in better.
2. apply origins mega-bright skin correcting serum. this supposedly evens out skin tone. it feels silky & amazing, but haven't been using it long enough to notice anything about my skin tone. the reviews are good, though!
3. as a moisturizer, i use origins {surprise}  make a difference cream. it really makes my skin dewy without being greasy & make-up goes over the top perfectly.

...then i use a bit of clinique line smoothing concealer in very light under my eyes and finish with maybelline mineral power powder foundation in ivory light.
then i dust on some benefit bronzer in hula and some smashbox blush rush in flush.

pm:
1. after wash, repeat steps 1& 2 from am.
2 {which is really 3}. apply philosophy miracle worker retinoid eye repair serum.
4. as a night moisturizer, i use origins high potency night-a-mins .

this entire routine was choreographed when i noticed one forehead wrinkle.

die, wrinkle, die.

are your eyelashes real?

yes.

what mascara do you use?

my favorite are either lancome hypnose doll lashes mascara or diorshow in black.

but when i'm on a budget, i settle for cover girl lashblast volume mascara in very black. it almost does the same thing, it just doesn't last as long in the bottle.

ps: if you value your own lashes, my best advice is: don't ever ever ever ever use waterproof mascara {unless you have an event that you anticipate bawling through, a one time exception}. i think it was made by the eyelash-destroying devil.
