jack passed boards.

i cannot even explain to you how excited / happy / relieved / proud i am of my handsome husband.

even though this journey has been hard, i am thankful that we have been given the opportunity to struggle through it. it has made each of our characters stronger, our marriage stronger, and our faith in the Lord stronger.

ok, we found out 18 days ago, so this announcement is a little delayed. since the moment he found out, we've been living life.

there is absolutely nothing better in this life than to watch your significant person work so hard for something  to better your family; and then see them succeed. i am truly thankful for the husband i have been blessed with. amen!

p.s.// ok, what does "passing boards" mean? that means he has achieved the academic competence to practice podiatric medicine in the united states of america. next, he has another year and a half of rotations, another round of boards, graduation (then we may call him doctahhhh), and then residency. its pretty clear he he isn't finished yet (about halfway through), but this was a huge milestone and i'm so proud!
