in my defense, carter's was having a huge sale online and i had a 20% off coupon, so i did the above shopping when i was in miami and jack was at the hospital...we had just found out the gender, so i had the carnal desire to buy leopard print stat. ps: leopard has to be good leopard. i think cheap looking leopard print is beyond tacky, but i'm in love with the above. it has to be light and just the right shape. lol. and i'm very picky about tacky character tees...but i couldn't resist this little squirrel.
i bought these little possum fur booties in new zealand last year. i wasn't even pregnant, but are you kidding me right now!? are you dying yet?!?!?! ps i loooove animals, but apparently possums are a huuuge pest in nz and their fur is used when they are exterminated so that it doesn't go to waste.
{either that or the shop lady lied to me like when jack tells me the roadkill on the side of the freeway is "just sleeping" so that i don't cry}
sad, but possum fur is everywhere in glenorchy and i felt like i was bringing some of the culture back with me, if that makes sense.
...and where do i begin. carter's was having a doorbuster 60% sale. most of this stuff was on clearance so, it's not online..but all is from carters except the leopard onesie on the left, which is kardashian kids collection from babys r us. the leopard print was spot on {no puns, heh}, so i had to pick it up.
yes, that is a neon pink kitty shirt. and now baby has jeggings to last her from birth through six months. we will cover six months through adulthood at a later date. and her first pair of pink sparkly ankle boots with the furrrr.
because every davidson girl needs to have a lifetime supply of jeggings and ankle boots.
i may or may not be planning to dress my baby like a kitty 90% of the time. but a classy kitty.
and i'm totally not ashamed.
